Took out the magazines that I subscribed too but haven't read today, just to keep track (sort of)
of how much of the world I have missed out on. I think I've been way way behind time recently,
in the most unfortunate situation whereby I have virtually stopped dwelling in fashion blogs, forums,
design inspirational sites, and/or any art or design related magazines.
And I am starting to feel the effects taking place now, gradually feeling more and more disconnected
to everything around me now. For example, designs are harder to come out of me of late, possibly
because i'm still living in the aesthetics of December 2011. Practically everything took a sharp turn
after hospitalization during those months, and I guess I really took a huge chill pill then.
Oh well too late to cry over spilt milk now, and moving on...
I watched Batman Begins *Twice* today - not that I had a lot of time on hand or whatever, just
took breaks in the form of watching the same movie twice. Once on my own and the other time
with the girlfriend and family.
Had the fantastic feeling of eating Balmoral Bakery stuff today, everything tastes the same as before!
Especially the box and printed logo, which brings back such euphoric memories of my childhood.
And yes their trademark logo was still complete with the halftone-ish effect printing, mesh and all.
++ Thinking of subscribing to Juxtapoz Magazine next - not sure if it's worth the money though.
