Hello fellow Burgers

Visited the Nike pop up retail space over at Peranakan Place today with the girlfriend.

When you walk in staffs greet you with this tag thing, accompanied with Neon Green laces as a
lanyard function - I think what's really nice about the whole direction is that everything follows
a consistent Neon Green, which is a stellar choice for color because it just lights the place up!

Look upwards at the lift lobby and the ceiling looks like grass, but it's actually the laces dangling!
Another really really nice sight I guess. I'm not sure if Nike had the lift build just for the Pop Up
Store, but if it was then I just gotta say that they have aloottta ca$h d00d.

Lift opens and there's this huge ass Lunaglide installation in front of you, and the first thing that
hits my mind is not the wonderful greenish presence that it exudes, but rather "How are they going
to take this out (and down) after the pop up store runs its time?" Paying attention to the wrong things
all at the wrong times.

So yes the whole thing is kind of like an exhibit, with different raised booth looking things showcasing
the various Nike products, as well as an area whereby different artists displayed their take on the Nike
Cortez. Something like 40th Anniversary special, why never ask me design a pair ah?

Sadly they did not stock the Air Safari's that Tres Bien does, if not I would've bought shoes on the spot!
If anyone finds the standard version of Nike's Air Safari PRM please let me know.

But while the whole place was beautifully designed, there seemed to be too many staffs working? Just
my opinion I guess. Through the short pass that Dion and myself made, the staffs were huddled
together and not too actively engaged with the people that were in the store/exhibit/whatever.
I initially expected something like them describing the various little booths that they were assigned
to to us, but instead it was a rather lone journey through the Nike Pop Up Store. Nevertheless, it's
something like an experience that you have to go? Cause you're a Singaporean and you have to be
Kiasu and visit everything possible in your country! Kidding.

However if tourists go and you don't...Oi just go la.
